To encourage experienced and committed volunteers and consultants from the building industry and related professions across Canada, to participate on international projects that involve:
(i) the construction of shelter and infrastructure
(ii) the training of individuals in income generation construction skills
(iii) the engagement of public sector agencies and governments on land security and land management issues.

To partner with Canadian and international aid organizations and local NGO's that have aid programs in the country in which the shelter projects are required.

To engage families, community organizations, and non-government and government organizations in the design, construction, re-construction of shelters.

To create with each building project, new local job and business opportunities.

To increase Canadian awareness of the international shelter needs and encourage individuals, organizations and governments to participate in improving such shelter and
